Originally thought to be a selection of Quercus rubra and confused with the selection Q. rubra 'Aurea', but is of a separate source and species.

Description:

Bright yellow spring flushes remianing a nice yellow color through summer. Found as a sport on a wild Quercus velutina by Ray Jackson in Tennessee.
